9. more pics

My last days in Athens. Tomorrow i will leave for Patra - where i will be for the next 6 months to come. Monday will be my first day at school - and i'm afraid i will feel just like the little children on the first of September - nerves in my belly.

Tomorrow is also 'Theofania'. It is the custom in Greece that in the morning the priest (pappas) throws a cross in the sea (harbour,...) and that young men dive to find it. The lucky one gets a gift from the priest ... nowadays a dvd (!) or so.
Friens told me where to see such a happening near Athens - and i hope to get up early in the morning to go to see it.

A rolling stone from Irisch descent that came to site with us in Psyrri.

Identity card of an 'alien' i met (a friend's friend). His father is Albanese, his mother is Albanese with Greek descent. A very strange translation into English in my eyes.

Panoramic view of the balcony where i stay. My first experiment with Photoshop. Click it!

Maandag eerste schooldag spannend!
Hier nihil nove sub sole.
Casablanca gezien: aanrader.
Take care.

Raiss,
Geniet ervan!

Raissa regarding the photo you posted with the strange word "alien" , those people are called here in greece βορειοηπειρώτες and are actually greeks who lived/live in albania.
In case you dont know there is a quite large greek minority in the southern part of Albania.
Recently (just before 2-3 days) the government announced that it will provide a greek citizenship for those people. So probably this kind of ID cards will not be used any more.
